Week 1
Somatic and Vocal Awareness Meditation.
This meditation is an invitation to gently arrive in your body and listen inward—without effort, performance, or expectation. Through slow attention to sensation, breath, and subtle sound, we begin to restore a sense of safety and presence within the nervous system.
You’ll be guided to notice the body from the inside—feeling weight, support, and micro-movement—while allowing the voice to emerge naturally as vibration rather than “sound.” Soft humming, sighs, or simple tones may arise, or you may simply listen. Both are welcome.
This practice is not about doing it “right.” It’s about building trust with your body and voice, especially in places that may have learned to stay quiet, guarded, or unseen. Move slowly, pause when needed, and let this be a conversation with yourself rather than an instruction.
You are encouraged to practice in a comfortable, private space where you feel safe to soften. Journaling or quiet reflection afterward may help integrate what was felt or heard.
Private Voice Recording
I’ll invite you to record a short sound on your phone.
This recording is only for you. No one else will hear it unless you choose. This is not about sounding good.
It’s about witnessing where your voice is today.
Prompt options (choose one):
“This is me arriving.”
“This is my voice today.”
Or a hum, sigh, or single tone
Take about 30–60 seconds.
When you’re done, gently stop the recording and place your phone down.
(silence while they record)
INTEGRATION & SELF-WITNESSING
Notice how your body feels now. You don’t need to analyze the recording.
Just notice:
Was there warmth?
Resistance?
Emotion?
Neutrality?All of it is welcome.
